Don Lee Wymer 83 of Ravenna was called home by the Lord Friday, November 17, 2023 at his residence after a battle with cancer. He was born April 24, 1940 in Ravenna, Ohio to Donald I. and Frances (Russell) Wymer. Don retired as a printing sales representative having worked in the industry most of his life. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, a 59 year member of the Ravenna Elks Club #1076 and a member of the Ravenna Moose #1234. Don enjoyed playing on the Elks golf league for many, many years. He was an avid sports fan. When he wasn't watching one of his children or grandchildren participating in a sport, he loved watching the Browns, Cavaliers, Ohio State Football and most of all his beloved Boston Celtics. Survivors include his wife of 41 years Luci Wymer, children Joel (Kelly) Wymer, Jodi (Scott) Eisler, Samantha (Scott) Cope, Andrea (Jeremy) Bailey, Bobbi (Jon) Ross, Aaron (Alesya) Wymer and Christopher (Jillian) Wymer and grandchildren Brooke and Colin Wymer, Austin Eisler, Taylor and Carter Cope, Jacoby, Crosby and Rowan Bailey, Frank, Nina and Rocco Ross, Sophia and Mason Wymer and Kyle Kashirets, and Ruby and Wyeth Wymer. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Jacquelyn Gilbert. Per his request, cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will be held at 4 PM on Sunday, December 3, 2023 at the Ravenna Elks Lodge. Condolences and memories of Don may be shared at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
