Donald H. Smith

Donald H. Smith 71 of Ravenna passed away Sunday May 19, 2013 at The Woodlands at Robinson in Ravenna, Ohio.  He was born May 15, 1942 in East Liverpool, Ohio to the late Lloyd and Nora Smith.  He had worked at several race tracks in New York as a race track official and had also worked for Ontario County in New York.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Joanne in May of 2010.  Survivors include his daughter Lynnette Lindsey, his grandchildren Charlie and Meagan and his step sisters Dottie Smith, Laurine Richardson, Rosalyn Cox and Starr Lynn Smith.  At his request there will be no calling hours or services, cremation has taken Place.  The family asks that memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
