Donna (Bartlebaugh) Mayes

Donna Dee Mayes 88 of Shalersville passed away Saturday, February 24, 2024 at UH portage Medical Center. She was born August 31, 1935 in Canoe Twp., PA to Ben and Geraldine (Pennington) Bartlebaugh. Donna was a member of the Aurora Mennonite Church. She has been a homemaker for the last 50 years. Donna loved to sew, bake and paint. Along with her grandchildren, her yard and flowers were her biggest joy. Survivors include her children Roger G. (Abbie) Mayes and Leesa M. Large, grandchildren Heather (Duane) Huffman and Dustin Mayes, great grandchildren Gianna and Calvin Huffman and siblings Brian Bartlebaugh, Gerelda Mayberry, Sue Insley and Gail Pennington. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Sylvester J. Mayes and siblings. Calling hours will be from 10 AM until time of funeral services at 11 AM on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at the Aurora Mennonite Church with Pastor Dave Martino and Rev. Jim Schwartz officiating.
