Dorothy J. Simone

Dorothy J. Simone 87 of Aurora passed away Thursday, August 10, 2023 at Ahuja Medical Center. She was born July 31, 1936 in Lowellville, OH to William and Edith (Kale) Mayberry.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 67 years Augustine "Augie" Simone.  Survivors include her children Nora (Scott) Walker, David (Gayle) Simone, Tom (Dawn) Simone and Steve Simone, grandchildren Erin (Robbie) Katzenmeyer, Matthew (Danielle) Simone, Megan (Paul) Minotti II, Jessica (Colin) McCabe, Robby Simone, great grandchildren Khloe and Logann Katzenmeyer, Claire Simone, Paul "Trip", Arline Edith, and Winnie Jean Minotti, brother Francis Mayberry of Lowellville, OH and numerous nieces and nephews.   Throughout her life Dorothy worked as a legal secretary and a business office manager, but raising her family and spending time with grandchildren and great grandchildren was her greatest joy.  Calling hours will be from 5 - 7 PM Monday, August 14, 2023 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel.
