Edward L Dickerhoof, Jr

Edward L. Dickerhoof, Jr., 66, passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at the UH Portage Medical Center. Edward was born on May 4, 1955 to Edward L. and Mary S. Dickerhoof. He had worked as a mechanic for his own company called Ed's Auto Service and was a member of God's Church of Deliverance. Edward is preceded in death by his father Edward L. Dickerhoof, Sr., his sister Angela Sue Dickerhoof and brother Daniel C. "Pete" Dickerhoof. He is survived by his mother Mary S. Dickerhoof, his sister Rebecca S. (Ed) Dickerhoof-Bates,  his loving companion Brenda S. Hall, his nephews Curtis, Bradley, Steven, Michell and Eddie III and children that he loved as his own Charles Hall, Richard Hall, Susan Hall, Michael Hall, Matthew Hall and Mikie George, and Calling hours will be Wednesday November 17, 2021 from 5:30 pm till time of funeral services at 7:30 PM at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel.  Private family burial will be held at Homeland Cemetery Rootstown, Ohio.  Condolences and memories of Ed may be shared with his family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.  The family asks that in lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses and would greatly be appreciated.
