Edward L. Dickerhoof, Sr.

Edward L. Dickerhoof, Sr., 85 of Deerfield formerly of Ravenna, passed away on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at the UH Portage Medical center. Edward was born on September 27, 1936 in Brimfield, Ohio to the late Glennwood C. and Theresa C. Dickerhoof. He had worked as a service manager and mechanic for Martin Motors and was a member of God's Church of Deliverance in Ravenna. Along with his parents, Edward is preceded in death by his daughter Angela Sue Dickerhoof and son Daniel C. "Pete" Dickerhoof, and his siblings Glenn and Willard Dickerhoof. He is survived by his wife Mary S. Dickerhoof, children Edward L. (Brenda Hall) Dickerhoof, Jr., and Rebecca S. (Ed) Dickerhoof-Bates, siblings Ronnie Dickerhoof and Margaret Bigley, grandchildren Curtis, Bradley, Steven, Mitchell, Eddie III and Starr, and 8 great grandchildren. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, November 2, 2021 from 11:00AM until time of services at 12 NOON at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel.
