Edward T. Heaver, after a life well lived, at the age of 100 years and 165 days peacefully entered heaven on November 24, 2021. Edward was born on June 12, 1921 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Michael and Catherine Heaver. To most he was affectionately called Ed #1. As a good father he taught us the importance of family from the shade of the willow tree in his backyard where everyone was welcome. He also taught us his love of country as he served in the army in WWII and a strong work ethic by working for East Ohio Gas for 44 years. Ed never met a stranger but instead made a friend of everyone he met. He will forever be remembered for his kindness, gratitude and generosity. Along with his parents, Edward is preceded in death by his wife Mildred Heaver, whom passed away on December 4, 2016, his children Margaret Heaver and Dennis LoConti, grandson Matt Heaver and siblings Helen Forester and Catherine Cavanaugh. He is survived by his son Ed (Jeanette) Heaver, grandchildren Kelly (Chad) Van Dusen, Scott Banner, Dennis LoConti and Mary (Jim) LoConti-Klave, several great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Friday, December 3, 2021 from 11:00AM until time of services at 12 NOON at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Streetsboro Chapel with Pastor James Lovejoy officiating. Burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Streetsboro, Ohio. Condolences and memories of Edward may be shared with his family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
