Edward G. Uher, beloved husband of Myrtle (Stoneking) Uher. Son of Agnes (Ciha) and Joseph J. Uher. Born on July 4, 1929 in Newburg Heights, Ohio. Died February 18, 2020. He graduated from South High School in Cleveland, Ohio. Employed by Bedford Lithograph Printing Company as a Journeyman Pressman until retirement. Is a member of Graphic Arts Communications Union #546M, The Catholic Order Of Foresters, and The American Legion post #0331. He was a member of St. Pius X Parish. He was Commissioned as an Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist. Edward served in the United States Navy during the Korean War for 7 ½ years as a diesel engine man aboard the USS William T. Powell, USS Walter B. Cobb, USS Thuban and the USS Olmsted. Surviving are his son Timothy E. Uher, two grand children Kyle E. Zebrowski and Kristen R. Zebrowski, son-in-law Michael W. Zebrowski and many nephews and nieces. Predeceased by his parents Agnes (Ciha) and Joseph J. Uher, beloved wife, Myrtle M. Uher, daughter Sharon A. Zebrowski, Sisters and Brothers: Mary “Mae” (Enoch) Bolser, Elsie Elizabeth Uher, Joseph J. (Jean) Uher, John J. (Beatrice) Uher, Jerry (Dorthy) Uher, Clarence Uher and Raymond Uher. Calling hours will be from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM Monday February 24, 2020 at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM Monday at Immaculate Conception Church Ravenna, Ohio with Father William Kraynak officiating.
