Evelyn Louise Burgess

Evelyn Louise Burgess 73 of Ravenna passed away Monday, November 8, 2021 at Akron General Hospital. She was born July 8, 1948 in Ravenna, Ohio to Claude and Lorraine (Flynn) Steele. Evelyn was a member of the New Testament Baptist Church and M.A.D.D. Survivors include her children Tracie (Jim) Fritz, Bryan (Joanna) Pratt and Timothy Burgess, 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and siblings Shirley Clegg and Gerald Steele. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Roy E. Burgess. Evelyn has been reunited with her husband Roy at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Cremation has taken place, a memorial service will be held at 5 PM on Friday, November 19, 2021 with a celebration of her life at 6 PM at the New Testament Baptist Church, 3583 W. Main Street in Ravenna with Reverend Bob Burgess officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials should be made to Mothers Against Drunk Driving, 7301 West Blvd., Youngstown, Ohio 44512.
