Obituary

Gary Switzer, 82 of Streetsboro, passed away Wednesday April 12, 2023 at Marymount Hospital in Garfield Hts., Ohio.  He was born January 4, 1941 in Rimersburg, Pennsylvania to the late Mile S. and Olive M. (Rush) Switzer.  Living in Streetsboro the past 55 years Gary had worked a truck driver for Kroger and the retiring from Yellow Freight.  In addition to his parents, he as preceded in death by several siblings.  Survivors include his wife of almost 60 years Cora J. (Hawk) Switzer whom he married October 26, 1963, his children Melissa (Smitty) Smith,  Crystal (Todd) Densmore, Gary (Kim Lehman) Switzer, Jennifer Switzer, 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.  Calling hours will be Saturday April 15, 2023 from 10 Am until time of the 11 AM funeral services at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel.  Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery Streetsboro, Ohio.  Condolences and memories of Gary may be shared with his family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
