Grace L (Hattery) Kleinsmith

Grace (Hattery) Kleinsmith, daughter of the late Lester and Ruth (Heister) Hattery born on April 12, 1933, was called  home on Friday March 17, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family.  She graduated from Ravenna Township School and Bohecker Business College.  She retired from Mantaline Corp. in Mantua and worked at Cipriano's Restaurant where she was known as the salad girl.  Mrs. Kliensmith was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church and the Women of  Moose Ravenna Chapter 540.  She enjoyed paper crafting, doing embroidering on her machine and loved helping others.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Donald on Aug. 24, 2013, her daughter Dawn E. Golias and sister Elizabeth Thompson.  Survivors include her children Jane (Jerry) Roop, Marilyn (Michael Horner) Christy, Suzanne (Kenny) Byam, Michael Kleinsmith, her grandchildren  Roger (April) Davis, Jason (Christy) Davis, Greg Davis, Kristine (Kevin) McMichael, her great grandchildren Nathan Davis, Colin Davis, Gabriel Davis, Jason Davis, Morgan Davis, Justin Johnson, Alexis Johnson several nieces and nephews and her special friend Dinna Siciliano.  Calling hours will be 5-8 PM Monday March 20, 2023 with Women of the Moose services at 7:45 PM at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel.  Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday March 21, 2023 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Ravenna with Pastor Dan Carusso, Jr. officiating.  Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park Ravenna, Ohio.  Mrs. Kliensmith requested that memorial donations please be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church 170 North Freedom St. Ravenna, Ohio 44266.  Condolences and memories of Grace may be shared with her family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
