Guy Joseph Gentiluomo

Guy Joseph Gentiluomo, age 86, of Aurora, Ohio, passed away on April 12th, 2023, after a brief battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his daughters Lisa Dougherty and Lynne MacMillan during his final moments. Guy was born on December 19, 1936, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Anthony and Grace (Caputo). He attended John Adams High School and later briefly attended Ohio University before returning to Cleveland to work with his father in carpentry. Guy's career eventually led him to real estate, where he enjoyed great success for over 50 years. Throughout his life, Guy was known for his strong community involvement. He was an active member of the Twinsburg Rotary and the Hungarian American Golf Association, among countless other organizations. Guy was preceded in death by his beloved wife Nancy, with whom he had three children: Michael (deceased), Lisa (Dan) Dougherty, and Lynne (Dave) MacMillan. He is also survived by four grandchildren: Sean (Nikki) Dougherty, Megan (Mitch) Perrine, Ryan (Jaynina) MacMillan, and Kristen (Cody) Simpkins, as well as five great-grandchildren. A celebration of life for both Guy and Nancy will be held on July 10th at 11:00 a.m. at The Church in Aurora, 146 S. Chillicothe Rd., Aurora, Ohio. A luncheon will follow in the church hall. Guy will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and community. His legacy of hard work, dedication, and service will live on for many years to come.
