Harold J Klotzle

On December 22, 1928, Mr. Harold J. Klotzle was born in Sardis, Ohio to the late John E. and Irma E. (Imhoff) Klotzle and on Monday March 13, 2023, Harold passed away at his home in Ravenna, Ohio.  Harold has lived in Ravenna since 1969 and was the owner and operator of Portage TV.  He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, the Ravenna Lions Club, Ravenna Elks and the Ravenna Rotary.  He was a veteran of the US Army serving from February 14, 1951 to January 27, 1953.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death  by his wife Lucille "Lou" Klotzle on June 25, 2018 after 51 years of marriage, his grandson Andrew Kline, his siblings Irwin Klotzle, Eileen Emch, Betty Marquart and his daughter in law Cindy Klotzle.  Survivors include his children Cheryl (Kelly) Greene, Gary Klotzle, Linda (Wesley) Kline, Bruce Klotzle, his grandchildren Joshua Kline, Coleburn Klotzle, his great grandchildren Matthew, Kash, Lani, Macey and sister Inez Ramsire.  Calling hours will be 2-4 PM Sunday March 19, 2023 at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel  and on Monday from 10:00 AM until time of the funeral services at 11:00 AM at Ravenna First United Methodist Church with Pastor Bruce Hartley officiating.  On Monday at 2:00 PM Harold will be laid to rest with Military Honors  next to his beloved wife Lou in the Ohio Western Reserve Cemetery Rittman, Ohio.  Condolences and memories of Harold may be shared with his family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com
