Henry W Riddle

Henry W. Riddle III, 82 of Ravenna, passed away Thursday, July 1, 2021 peacefully at home. He was born on July 19, 1938 in Ravenna to the late Maxwell and Martha (Hurd) Riddle. Henry was a legendary tree climber. He worked and retired from Davey Tree and owned and operated Hank’s Tree Service. Henry was also a lover of motorcycles. He was the happiest when either in a tree or on his bike. In addition to his parents, Henry is preceded in death by his grandson Joshua and his canine best friend Charlie. He is survived by his wife of 49 years Rose Riddle, his children John White of Ravenna, Diana (David Haas) White of Stow, Jackie Riddle of Ravenna, Mikell (J.J. Polichena) Riddle-Polichena of Ravenna, and his sister Betsy (Richard) Whitmore and their family, grandchildren John  Henry (Jessica), Amanda, Sarah, Steven, Cera, Lauren, and great-grandchildren Blake, Trevor, Ryan, Destinee & Hannah. Per his request cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the Portage County Dog Warden, 8120 Infirmary Rd, Ravenna, OH 44266.
