Janet R. (Fouts) Gallegos

Janet R. Gallegos, 74, passed away unexpectedly on January 30, 2024, in her Ravenna, Ohio home. Born August 12, 1949 to Clarence and Ruth (Cain) Fouts, Janet was raised in Cleveland, Ohio and graduated from South High School. Janet married Michael “Mickey” Gallegos on September 2, 1972, and became a widow when she lost her soulmate on May 8, 1994. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, going to garage sales, and crocheting. Janet found joy in being the ultimate caregiver for those she loved. She was known for being selfless and thoughtful, always putting others before herself.  In addition to her husband, Janet was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Roger, Kenneth, and James Fouts. Janet will be deeply missed by her son Brian (Danielle) Gallegos, nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, extended family, and good friends.  In honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place, and a celebration of life will be held from 1:00-3:00 PM, on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Valley View Village Church, 11401 Tinkers Creek Rd, Valley View, Ohio.
