John Lewis Ayers

John Lewis Ayers 62 of Ravenna passed away Sunday, January 23, 2022 at UH Portage Medical Center. He was born November 5, 1959 in Ravenna to Aubrey C. and Rose (Stewart) Ayers. John had worked in maintenance for several companies. He loved the Cleveland Browns and working on old cars and trucks with his sons. Survivors include his wife of 35 years Dreama (Reynolds), sons John Ryan Ayers and Mitchell Ayers, father Aubrey Ayers, brothers Jim Ayers, Joe Ayers, Jeff (Deb) Ayers, Jerry Ayers and Jack (Doris) Ayers and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Rose Ayers. Calling hours will be from 5 PM until time of funeral services at 7 PM on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel with Dan Sabo officiating. Private family burial will be on Saturday in the Ayers Bowden Walker Family Cemetery in West Virginia. Memorials can be made to the Portage County APL, PO Box 927, Ravenna, Ohio 44266.
