John J Boger

John J. Boger, 91 of Streetsboro passed away unexpectedly Sunday November 7,  2021 at his home.  On January 17, 1930, John was born in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Albert and Shafica (Sadd) Boger.  He has lived in Streetsboro since 2003 and was formerly of Mayfield Hts., Ohio.  John was a retired mechanical designer from URS Consultants, a member of St. Joan of Arc Church in Streetsboro and a US Navy veteran serving in the Korean War.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years Rhenola Boger on December 24, 2018 and siblings Violet Wichert, Viola Boger, Alberta Boger and Betty Boger.  Survivors include his daughters Carol (Tim) Kuk, Kathy (Steve) Sarka, grandson Adam (Deana) Sarka, brother Joseph (Marge) Boger and many nieces and nephews.  Calling hours will be Thursday November 11, 2021 at St. Joan of Arc Church 8894 St Rt 14 Streetsboro, Ohio 44241 from 9;00 AM until time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM with Father Chris Luoni officiating.  Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery Twinsburg, Ohio.  The family asks that in lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in John's name to the MS Society.  To share a memory or leave a condolence, please visit www.sscfuneralhomes.com
