John Shockley

John Shockley, 93 of Ravenna, passed away Monday, October 25, 2021 at his residence. He was born on October 4, 1928 in Bedford to the late Wyatt and Edith (Sylvestro) Shockley. John had worked as a truck driver where he retired from Associated Truck lines and was a member of the Ravenna Moose Lodge #1234. Along with his parents, John is preceded in death by his siblings Albert Pisano, Elizabeth Shockley, Lucille Brandt, and Immaculatta Peck. He is survived by his wife Arieette (Vonk) Shockley, his daughter Doris (James) Shockley-Worthington, grandchildren Jonathan Worthington and Felicia Worthington, and great granddaughter Vayla Worthington. Calling hours will be held Saturday, October 30, 2021 from 10:00AM until 12 NOON at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel.  Ravenna Moose services will start at 12 Noon with the funeral service to follow.  (THE FAMILY IS REQUESTING THOSE IN ATTENDANCE TO WEAR MASKS) In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the funeral home.
