John A. Wallow, Jr. 83 of Ravenna passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at Cleveland Clinic Akron General in Akron, Ohio. He was born April 3, 1939 in Walkertown, PA to John A. and Mary (Widok) Wallow. John was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, a carpenter subcontractor for various construction companies and the former owner of Stadium Hydro Spray and East Main Car Washes. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler and Cleveland Indians fan. Survivors include his wife of 63 years Nancy (Mariana), children John A. (Amy) Wallow III, Greg Wallow, Karen (Frank) Meduri, Rosanne (Chris) Tyson and Jenifer (Jon) Winters, grandchildren Nicole, Amanda, Hannah, Isabella, Olivia, Elijah, Riley, Hunter, Michael and Derek and great grandchildren Hailey, Payton, Madison, Gavin, Leah and one great grandchild expected in June. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandson Mark Meduri and sisters Ruth Sanders, Betty Hill, Mary Wentzell and Roberta "Bobbie" Migliozzi. Calling hours will be from 3 PM to 6 PM Sunday, March 19, 2023 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, March 20, 2023 at Immaculate Conception Church in Ravenna with Father William Kraynak officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery in Ravenna. In lieu of flowers memorials should be made to Immaculate Conception Church, 409 W.
