Kenneth J Neff

Kenneth J Neff, 92 of Streetsboro and formerly of Ravenna, passed away Monday July 5, 2021 at the Gardens of Liberty Park in Streetsboro.  He was born January 20, 1929 in Ravenna, Ohio to the late Warren and Edith (Cutting) Neff.  Mr. Neff has been a life long Portage County resident and was a retired supervisor from Filmco in Aurora.  He had volunteered for the Portage County Sheriff's office and also had worked as a security guard for the Ravenna Arsenal.  He was a member of the Ohio National Guard for 22 years.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Debra Neff, four sisters and one brother.  Survivors include his wife of 70 years June (Stonestreet) Neff whom he married March 10, 1951, his children Sandra (Stanley) Bindas, Kathleen Kostich, Ronald (Vicky) Neff, Kevin Neff, seven grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.  In honoring his request, cremation has taken place and memorial services with  Miliatry honors will be Sunday July 11, 2021 at 11:00 Am at Maple Grove Cemetery.  The family asks that in lieu of flowers memorial donations please be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.  Condolences and memories of Kenneth may be shared with his family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
