Laura M (Sapp) Hammond

Laura M. Hammond, 88, of Ravenna, passed away Monday, January 4, 2021 at her home. She was born March 2, 1932 in Ravenna to Paul and Stella (Bissler) Sapp. Laura was a member of the First Christian Church in Ravenna and the GWRRA Chapter G2 in Mantua. She retired from Bank One where she was a teller. Survivors include her children Brenda (Scott) Frank, Gene Singleton, and Cliff Singleton, Laura has one granddaughter, Brittany Pearson and a very special and loving, longtime companion, Calvin Lohr. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Dale Sapp. Calling hours will be from 10 AM until time of funeral service at 12 PM Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home, Ravenna Chapel. Reverend Laurie Metzko will officiate. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Ravenna.
