LeRoy W. Kendrick

LeRoy W. Kendrick, 67 of Ravenna passed away Friday at Akron City Hospital.  He was born on August 10, 1953 in Birmingham, Alabama to Carl Kendrick, Sr. and Mary (Shuford) Charley. Graduated from Ravenna High School 1971. Was employed by the State of Ohio and also learned auto body repair at Dick Strawman’s Shop in Blackhorse.   Being a Ravenna resident all his life Mr. Kendrick was the owner and operator of LeTroy’s Auto  Repair.  Survivors include his children  Pamela (Will) Nation Calhoun, Tyrell Kendrick,  Ivory Kendrick, his granddaughter Lauren Calhoun, his siblings  Carl Kendrick Jr.,  Patricia (Cary) Dennison, Lila (Damon) Griffin,  Pinkie  Kendrick (Alves), nieces, nephews, special friends, his beloved aunt Marguerite Banks and his close friend who was like a brother Erron Hill . He was preceded in death by his father, stepfather J.C. Coney and brother Derrick Kendrick.  Calling hours will be Saturday September 12, 2020 from 11:00 AM until time of funeral services at 12 PM at the United Church of Jesus Christ 420 S.
