Lee Clark Obituary

Lee Eddie Clark, 94 of Ravenna, Ohio passed away Friday, March 27, 2020 at UH Portage Medical Center in Ravenna with his loving family by his side. He was born September 10, 1925 in Hughes, Arkansas to Elijah and Rebecca (Luster) Clark. On October 3, 1950 he married Barbara Jean Hudson of Sturgis, Mississippi and they moved to Ravenna, Ohio in 1951. From that union they had seven children, six sons and one daughter. Lee Eddie Clark retired from Rockwell and Standard Steel Mill in Newton Falls, Ohio where he worked as a Bumper Buffer. His favorite hobbies were playing golf, fishing, reading the Bible, watching football and basketball on TV, listening to the Blues and spending time with his family especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lee also had a love for Cadillacs and stylish clothes, he was always well groomed. He loved his close-knit family, his cousin Kay Francis Carr, and nephews Otis Lee Floyd, Joseph Moore and Morlin Moore and special friends Felecia Smith, Lee Counts and Mallory Thomas. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Alveriniece Sims, his uncles Ben Luster, Dave Luster, King Luster and his beloved wife Barbara Jean Clark.  He leaves to cherish his memory his children Lee Otis Clark, Marvin (Charlene) Clark, Larry (Mary) Clark, Ronnie (Sharon) Clark, Barbara Faye Gratton (Mallory Thomas), Alvin (Beverly) Clark and Jeffrey (Gwendolyn) Clark, 25 grandchildren, 63 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Due to COVID-19 there will be private family calling hours and services. A public memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel.
