Leon G. Hanning, Jr.

Leon G. Hanning, Jr. 61 of Streetsboro, passed away Sunday February 25, 2018 at the Cleveland Clinic.  He was born June 13, 1956 in Bedford, Ohio  to Leon G. and Julia (Turner) Hanning, Sr.   Mr. Hanning has lived in Streetsboro most of his life and retired from Commercial Turf Products in Streetsboro where he was a supervisor.  He was a member of the Goldwing Road Riders Association for many years.  Survivors include his wife Annette (Warner) Hanning whom he married August 23, 1975, his children Laura Hanning of Streetsboro, Michael (Leslie) Hanning of Stow, Robert (Jeanine) Hanning of Ravenna, his grandchildren Hunter  and Juliana Hanning of Stow, Megan Conrad of Cary, NC, Joshua (Rema) Hanning of Ravenna, his great grandson Abel Hanning of Ravenna, his father Leon G. Hanning, Sr. of Streetsboro and sister Patty (Scott) Dabbs of Stow, Ohio.  He was preceded in death by his mother Julia Hanning and his great grandson Thomas.   Calling hours will be Wednesday February 28, 2018 from 4:00 PM until time of funeral services at 7:00 PM at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Streetsboro Chapel.  Private family burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Streetsboro, Ohio.  In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to the family.  Condolences and memories of Leon may be shared with his family at www.sscfuneralhomes.
