María G. LoGiudice (García) passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Friday, October 20, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents Leoncio M. García and María Mercedes García; brother Charles García; daughter Cindy; son Ricky. She began her career in her family’s business, García Basket Factory in Boardman. Later, she worked as an agent for Bartholomy Real Estate. Next, she sold major appliances at Montgomery Ward then Sears, where she was highly recognized as the top salesperson during her 25-years. She owned and managed several properties in Youngstown, Boardman, and Poland. Besides work, she liked to keep busy camping, bowling, baking, and travelling. In the 1960’s, she was a winning contestant on the Price is Right. In 2014 she left her Boardman home to be closer to her daughter and family. She lived in Aurora, Ohio, until 2021 when she moved to her final residence in Mantua, Ohio. María was a very loving, generous, and interesting person who will be dearly missed. Surviving are daughter Karen (Bob) Merritt of Mantua, son Curtis LoGiudice of Jacksonville, Fla; four grandchildren Brittany Merritt (Joel) of Mantua, Brett Merritt of Ft. Meyers, Fla, Evin (Shannon) LoGiudice and Shannon LoGiudice of Jacksonville, Fla.; sister-in-law Gina García of Canfield and several nieces. She also loved her two pups, Dexter and Jaxon.
