Marsha Hall Obituary

Marsha L. Hall, 65, of Mantua passed away Friday December 25, 2020 at UH Portage Medical Center in Ravenna, Ohio. She was born March 26, 1955 in Ravenna to the late Kenneth and Claudia (Darrah) Snyder. Marsha has lived in Mantua most of her life. She retired after 30 years of service at Robinson Memorial Hospital (UH Portage Medical Center) where she worked as a nursing assistant in the pediatric department. She worked for the Mantua Pharmacy for around five years. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings Karen Dedon, KD Snyder, David Snyder, niece Christine Kruhmin, and brother in law Les Roosa. She is survived by her husband of 46 years John B. Hall whom she married November 16, 1974, her sons Andrew (Dara Delong) Hall, Adam Hall, her granddaughter Brenna Lillie Hall, her sisters Deborah Roosa, Darlene (Kenneth) Kruhmin, brother in law Roger Dedon, and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Marsha loved traveling with family and friends, and spent her retirement enjoying cruises with husband John, sister Deborah (Les) Roosa, cousins Chuck and Greg Carlton-Jones, best friend Robin Demchak, and friends Scott and Sheila Major. Each afternoon on the cruise the ladies would enjoy their Bahama Mamas soaking up the sun. Marsha and her sisters Deborah and Darlene spent each Tuesday together and they fondly referred to it as Sister’s Day. Breakfast bunch was a group of friends from Robinson Memorial Hospital that Marsha enjoyed meeting with monthly at Cracker Barrel. She loved sports and spent weekends watching baseball and football. She was also fond of animals, especially dogs and cats and donations can be made to Portage County APL (8122 Infirmary Rd. Ravenna, Oh) in Marsha’s honor.
