The 84 year journey of Mary Helen Hall (Flowers) came to a close as she took her last breathe on February 8th , She was a sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, great Aunt, but most of all she was a wonderful and faithful friend. Her faith in Christ Jesus was unbreakable. She had the most beautiful soul, and her spirit for life was never ending. No matter what the situation, she faced it head on, her faith always pushed her through.
She was born to Earl W. and Maude A. (Smith) Flowers on July 24, 1935 in Ravenna Ohio, she graduated from Ravenna High School in 1953 and had remained active with her class of wonderful friends. She worked at Jack Kohl Agency for many years, and retired from ODOT as a secretary in the test lab in 1997. Mary was a long time member of the Ravenna Assembly of God Church.
Mary was preceeded in death by her parents, husband Carl Hall, son Roger Kilbourne, Sister's Arla Jean (James) Bowen, Shirley Ann (Earl) Stone, Nancy Carol (Mark) Jacobs, and brother Duane Flowers.
Mary leaves behind her daughter Kim Kilbourne St. Hilaire, grandchildren Breiann (Walter) Cozzi, Chelsea (Joshua) Longsdorf, Cody (Ashley) Mcgowan, John Kilbourne, and Jacob St. Hilaire, many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends and daughter in law Denise Christie.
Mary's request was in lieu of flowers she preferred a donation to the Ravenna Assembly of God Church where the calling hours and services will be held on Wednesday, February 12th, calling hours from 11am to noon with services immediately following. A Lunch will be provided after burial at Maplegrove Cemetary in Ravenna, provided by Ravenna Assembly of God. A special thank you to the nurses and aides of Hospice of Western Reserve, their care and understanding was immeasurable.
