Obituary
Matthew D. Tipton, 39 of Portage County, passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2023 following an auto accident. Matthew was born on November 15, 1983 in Ravenna to his late parents David and Heidi Tipton. He had worked as a carpenter for the Basement Guys of Ohio and Willmott Construction and was an avid Cleveland Browns football fan. In addition to his parents, Matthew is preceded in death by his daughter Paitynn. He is survived by his wife Libby Tipton whom he married on January 1, 2010, his twin boys Ethan and Chandler, his sister Holly Voelker, and his niece Olivia. As well as family, countless friends, and his Tropidelic family. He was "that guy" that would be there minutes after you called. Would help with any problem he could. This accident leaves a hole in many hearts and lives. Calling hours will be from 5:00PM until time of service at 7:00PM Monday, August 7, 2023 at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel.
