Melissa A. Terry, 47 a lifelong Portage county resident, passed away on Wednesday July 15, 2020 at her home in Shalersville. She was born June 2, 1973 in Ravenna to James Simms and to the late Darrell (Yost) Simms. Melissa had a love for the outdoors, enjoying animals and her children and grandchildren. Survivors include her husband Scott N. Terry, her father and his wife James and Ginger Simms, her daughters Hailey (Ricki) Crawley and their children Savanna, Gabriel, daughter Nathalie (Anthony) Donham and their children Donavan, Maylynn , daughter Stayce Tylicki and her sisters Tania Unger, Amy Redman and Jody Armstrong. At her request, cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held at her daughters house, 2036 Merrill Rd. Kent, Ohio 44240 on Sunday July 26, 2020 at 6:00 PM.
