Michael W. Kennedy

Michael W. Kennedy 56, of Ravenna passed away Monday May 11, 2015.  He was born July 4, 1958 in Germany to Irewin and Louise  (Landers) Kennedy.    Mr. Kennedy has been a lifelong Ravenna and Portage County resident and  was working for Interstate Towing in Macedonia.  He enjoyed riding motorcyles especially his Harley, working on cars, playing softball and spending time with his grandchildren.  Survivors include his parents Irewin and Louise Kennedy of Deerfield, his wife Vicki (Davis) Kennedy whom he married November 11, 1977 his daughters Heather (Rob) Thompson of Newton Falls, Holly (Joe ) Colman of Ravenna, his grandchildren which were his pride and joy, Destinee, Autumn, Breeana, Kailie, Chase, Rayna, Joseph, Michael, Brooke and his sister Jill Kuhns of Deerfield.  He was preceded in death by his sister Vicki Kennedy.  Calling hours will be 5-8 PM Thursday May 14, 2015 at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel where funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday May 15, 2015 with Pastor Ed Beck officiating.  Burial will follow in Charlestown Cemetery Charlestown Twp., Ohio.  Condolences and memories of Michael  may be shared with the family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
