Mildred L. Dengg of
Streetsboro
died peacefully with her family at her side on Friday, March 25, 2011. She was born in Selbysport, Maryland. She loved painting with her grandchildren and crocheting. She retired from Stouffers in 1991.
Survivors include her beloved husband of 61 years Edwin L. Dengg, sister and best friend Patricia (Frank) Goodson, brothers Alan (Mary) Taylor and Lawrence (Judy) Taylor, children Rosanna (Mark) Weissert, Edwinia Messenger, John (Jana) Dengg, Linda (Wayne) Slack, G. Beth Dengg, Candace (Mark) Pallante, 21 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and numerous other loved ones. She was preceded in death by her parents Myrtle and
Lawrence Taylor
, sister Shirley
Strahin, two sons Fred and Frank Dengg, grandson Jason and great grandson Hunter. Friends will be received from
2 to 5 PM Sunday, March 27, 2011
and from 12 noon to 1 PM
Monday, March 28, 2011
at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel. Funeral services will be held at
1 PM Monday
with Reverend William Snyder officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Streetsboro. Memorials should be made to Akron Childrens' Hospital Pallative
