Myrtle Patricia Spiker

March 12, 1944 — July 1, 2020

Myrtle Patricia ‘Patty’ Spiker, 76, of Ravenna, passed away early Wednesday morning, July 1st.  Born on March 12, 1944.  She attended Washington High School in Massillon.  Her parents were Albert Lower and Myrtle Marie Hunter.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, William ‘Bill’ Spiker.  She is survived by her brother-in-law David (Janice) Spiker of Ravenna, and sister-in-law Nancy Taylor of Hedgesville, West Virginia.  She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.  Patty belonged to the American Legion Post 331 Ladies Auxiliary and enjoyed spending time at the post with friends.  She often took part in the Balloon-A-Fair parade as a member of the American Legion color guard.   She worked for 28 years at Delta Systems in Streetsboro until her retirement in 2014.  Burial will be at Maple Grove cemetery in Ravenna. Services have been entrusted to Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel.
