Paul J. Dobrilovic

Paul J. Dobrilovic, Jr., 73 of Biloxi, Mississippi passed away at his home on October 28, 2022, following a long illness.  Paul was born in Ravenna, graduated from Ravenna High School, and proudly served in the U.S. Air Force reaching the rank of Staff Sergeant.  After retiring from the military, and his last station of duty being Kessler Air Force Base, he remained in Biloxi.  Paul loved landscaping, working in his many flower gardens, and enjoyed woodworking.  He is survived by his daughter, Christina Painter (Lee), his stepson Richard Best (Jana), grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, as well as, his sisters, Anne Moneypenny, Mary Dorflinger (Roger), and Nancy Holt.  He was preceded in death by his wife JoAn, his parents Paul and Betty Dobrilovic, and brothers-in-law Rillis Moneypenny, Jr. and Chris Holt.  A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 28, 2022, at Immaculate Conception Parish, 409 W. Main Street, Ravenna, Ohio 44266 with Father William Kraynak officiating. The family would like to thank Dickey Brothers Memorial Funeral Home in Biloxi and Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Home in Ravenna for all their help in handling the funeral arrangements. Arrangements are being made for burial at Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to Veteran’s Housing:  Freedom House of Portage County, White House of Portage County or Miss Liberty House of Portage County. https://fcsserves.org/program/freedom-house/.    Condolences and memories of Paul may be shared with his family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
