Pearl J (Roosa) Sands

Pearl J. Sands, 76 of Ravenna passed away  Wednesday December 25, 2019 at her daughters  home in Charlestown Twp.  She was born in Ravenna, Ohio on November 15, 1943 to the late Leonard J. and  Adella M. (Shumm) Roosa.  Pearl had retired from Anderson Window where she worked as a fabricator.  In her younger days she enjoyed camping, was a member of the Ravenna Moose 1234 where e she loved playing cards, especially Euchre.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Robert Roosa, David Swauger, her brothers Danny, Raymond, Leroy Roosa and an infant sister.  Survivors include her children Juanita (Robert) Moore,  Timothy (Vicki) Swauger,  Faith (Tommy)  Vanderpool,   Richard (Julie) Sands, her siblings Barbara Hood, Alice Hanna, Mary Roosa and Leonard F. Roosa.  Calling hours will be Sunday December 29, 2019 from 6-8 PM at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel where funeral services will be 11:00 AM Monday  December 30, 2019 with Rev.
