Rebecca L. (Taylor) Mulloy was born June 2, 1962 and went home to be with her Father and Savior Jesus the Christ of Nazareth on Wednesday May 27, 2020. The Only name under heaven by which men can be saved! She loved the Lord and exemplified Him here on earth. She was not perfect as none of us are perfect. Only Jesus the only begotten Son of the true God – The God of Israel! The love of Jesus poured forth from my beloved bride whom I shall greatly miss with all my heart! She is and was the only woman who truly loved me for me, her husband Jim of 16 ½ years. She loved every person she came in contact with and showed the love of Christ and made them feel special because they are special. Every person is special because they are made in the image of an awesome God! Her ministry was that of showing the love of Jesus especially to children. She loved children and adored them and they adored her back. I was amazed how strong she was and determined not to let cancer of the brain keep her down. She went to North Central Bible College graduating with a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Children’s ministry after graduating high school in Rootstown, Ohio. She went on missions trips to Bolivia, Peru, Guatemala and to England twice in later years. She worked at the daycare at Ravenna Assembly of God and then Amanda Gardens in 2008 and had to leave day car permanently after her second bout with cancer of the parotid gland. With all of the many falls and hitting her head too many times, concussions, broken collar bone in December 2019, then the month of May, 2020 the last two falls that did her in with two broken vertabraes and a sub cranial hematoma. The second fall caused the hematoma to burst and took my beloved wife. She was a woman who refused to let her disability keep her from enjoying life to the fullest! She loved going to the gym and for walks even when she had to use a walker to slow her down. She loved her family and friends and looked forward to her family reunions, the picnics with friends and family and of course the children. I was amazed with this little woman my Lord and Savior gave me as my wife. She was my rock here on earth! She truly was a woman after God’s own heart; a woman who feared God and she deserved praise. Proverbs 31:30 “A woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised”! She is and was a woman of determination, persistence, perseverance and a “go getter”. She knew her purpose and carried it out. She fought the good fight of faith. She truly deserves honor for her servitude to Father God through Jesus Christ King of Kings and Lord of Lords! I hope that I can be half the man that she was the woman. She literally rose and shined every morning giving God the glory – Hallelujah!! She was my champion her on earth! I love you so much Rebecca my sunny bunny. I truly will never forget you the love of my life!! Rebecca was preceded in death by her Father Frank Taylor, her Mother Caroline Taylor and she leaves behind her loving husband, Jim, of 16 ½ years the love of her life, her siblings Brother Rex (Bonnie) Taylor, Brother Lex or Woody, Sisters Vicki Flowers, Bonnie (Jack) Bowman, Kathy Murray and Lisa Bennett, her Step Mother Eydie Taylor whom she loved as a mother. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews which all will miss her greatly. We all love you Rebecca Louise Mulloy, wife, sister, aunt. You have blessed this dark world with the light God gave you. Goodbye my love until we meet again when my mission is over and we can finally have our first dance with no fears of falling. At her request, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life service will be held from 1 to 3 Pm on Saturday June 6, 2020 at the Community Bible Church in Rootstown, Ohio. Condolences and memories of Rebecca may be shared with her family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
