Robert E. Delaney, Sr,

Robert E. Delaney, Sr. 96 of Deerfield, formerly of Ravenna and North Fort Myers, FL passed away Monday, May 25, 2020 at Crandall Medical Center in Sebring, Ohio. He was born June 4, 1923 in Martins Ferry, Ohio to Edward and Edna (Hess) Delaney. Robert retired from the Ford Motor Company in Walton Hills after 30 years as an engineer. Survivors include his children Constance Reihl, Nancy (Michael) Herold and Robert (Sandi) Delaney, Jr., grandchildren Chip (Andrea) Reihl, Michael Delaney, Jeffrey (Melissa) Delaney and Kelly Herold, great grandchildren Lauren, Kristen and Megan Reihl and Gavyn Delaney and sister Kathleen Baker. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Laura M. in 1988 and siblings Donald Delaney, Madeline Marrone and Russell Delaney. At Mr. Delaney's request a private family funeral was held with burial in Grandview Memorial Park in Ravenna. Arrangements have been entrusted to Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel.
