Robert Lee Gilcher

Robert Lee Gilcher, 54 of Youngstown, also known by his many friends and family by Unc or Uncle Bobby, passed away after a courageous battle of cancer on Saturday, June 22, 2024. Robert was born on August 11, 1969 in Youngstown, Ohio and adopted by his late parents James and Elizabeth (Fall) Gilcher. He had worked as a sand blaster for Ohio Structures and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandson Dakota Rogers, and siblings Raymond Gilcher, James L. Gilcher, David F. Gilcher and Wanda Cottrill. Robert is survived by his wife, Tammy Gilcher, whom he married on June 22, 1996, his children Chayton (Laurel Kun) Gilcher, Derek (Cassie Crislip) Gilcher and Kayla (Devin Rogers) Gilcher, adopted children Robert and Bella Smith, his grandchildren Waylon, Russell, Melina and Knoxx, sister Debbie (Ed) Rudy and birth mother Norma Lavin.  Per his request, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will take place at a later date.
