Robert E Schuman

Robert E. Schuman, 79 of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away Sunday April 25, 2021 at his home with his family by his side.  On August 28, 1941 in Cleveland, Ohio Mr. Schuman was born to the late Aaron Carl and Ruth E. (Stroud) Schuman.  He has lived in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio the past three years and was formerly of Streetsboro where he is a member of the First Baptist Church in Streetsboro.  In 2003 he retired from the Ford Motor Company where he was a Production Chairman and Vice-President of the UAW.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings Jackie Stevens, Don Schuman, Kenny Schuman, Marilyn Dragich, Tom Schuman, Dick Schuman Carol Lough, Gary Schuman.  Survivors include his wife of 57 years Maureen N. (Bultinck) Schuman whom he married October 28, 1963, his children Joseph Robert Schuman, John (Shavonne) Schuman,  Scott (Arianna) Schuman, his grandchildren Quentin, Drezdyn, Kieran, Emersyn, Kaitlyn, Brianna, Hunter, Hailie, Taylor, Connor and his siblings Danny Schuman, Jim Schuman and Sharon Genetin.  In honoring Robert's request cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday May 1, 2021 at the First Baptist Church of Streetsboro.  Condolences and memories of Robert may be shared with his family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
