Roland M. Gerrick

Roland M. Gerrick, 67 of Ravenna, passed away Wednesday August 5, 2020 at UH Portage Medical Center in Ravenna, Ohio.  He was born on July 27, 1953 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Howard J. and Florence T. (Schultz) Gerrick.  Mr. Gerrick has worked as a machinist for Mactac in Stow and he worked at Soreothane in Kent, he was a member of the Ravenna Elks BPOE #1076 and enjoyed golfing and his Bismarck boat battles.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Desiree Gerrick.  Survivors include his wife Jennifer (Karamol) Gerrick whom he married May 18, 2002, his daughter Reine (Eric) Holbrook, his step children  Courtney (Leslie) Karamol, Patrick (Lisa Karamol, Sarah Karamol, his grandchildren Jorian Gerrick, Landyn Karamol, Laney Karamol, Jimmy Miller, Robert Miller, Shelby Miller, his siblings Edward J. (Jacquelyn) Gerrick, Robert H. Gerrick, Wayne M. (Deborah) Gerrick, brother in law Timothy (Mary Kay) Wing, friends Laurette, Bob (Donna), Bill his canine friends Gunner and Little Georgie, his feathery friend Maddy and Kirby and many nieces and nephews.  In honoring his request cremation has taken place and private family services have been held at Grandview Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers Roland would like any memorial contributions to please be made to the Portage County APL.  Condolences and memories of Roland may be shared at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
