Roosevelt Seeden, 81, of Ravenna, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 26, 2021 while at home with his loving wife and two daughters by his side. Roosevelt was born in Grenada, Mississippi January 9, 1940 to the late Johnetta Howard. He worked as a construction foreman for Forest City Construction Company and retired from Ohio Concrete. He loved going to the racetrack and spending time with his family. He was an avid gardener and could grow anything that started as a seed. Together with his wife of 51 years, they shared daughters Pamela (Brenda) White, Angela (Lester) Carney and Catrina (Anthony) Burwell. He was also blessed to have a daughter Karla (Tony) Armstead and son Rodney Mack. In addition to these surviving members are his special aunt Lula Mae Putnam and grandchildren Jeremy, Alyssia, Clara, Kyla, Maddox, Jammie (Breanna) and Kiona. He was preceded in death by his mother Johnetta (Andrew) Howard, brothers, Dustin and Charlie B. Seeden. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, August 31, 2021 from 11:00-12:00PM with a Celebration of Life to follow at 12:00PM at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel.
