Sandra Lynn (Gray) Friend

Sandra Lynn Friend 73 of Richfield, formerly of Ravenna, passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2021. She was born September 15, 1947 in Ravenna, Ohio to Dale and Marietta (Boles) Gray. Sandra had attended the Ravenna Church of God and worked at Longmeadow Care Center. Survivors include her children Raymond (Dawn Harvey) Long, Jeff (Jen) Friend, Jared Friend and Tonya Friend, 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Frederick H. Friend, daughter Kimberly (Long) Porcase and siblings Dale Lee Gray and Jean Ann (Gray) Walters.

 Sandy enjoyed her free time gardening, taking trips with her family, harness racing and of course the casino. She spent most of her life caring for her loved ones. 

 Calling hours will be from 6 - 8 PM Monday, April 12, 2021 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. Funeral services will be at 11 AM Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at the funeral home with Reverend William Snyder officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Ravenna. In lieu of flowers memorials should be made to the American Cancer Society, 10501 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44106.
