Sean Christopher Barringer, survived by father Dan, mother Ruth, sister Lindsay, brother Jim, grandparents Wayne, and Carol Barringer, Eleanore Sheffield, aunts and uncles, cousins, and many friends. Proceded in death by grandfather John Sheffield. Passed into eternity on June 18 2015.
A generous, loving, charitable man who had a kind word for all except for genetically modified organisms, the federal government, pharmaceutical drugs, herbicides, TVs and cell phones.
Much of his time was spent writing music, poetry and giving endlessly and selflessly to others including his mother's amazing organic salsa. He spent most of his days barefoot, soaking in vitamin D from the sun, and living life to the fullest. He taught numerous children from all walks of life how to embrace, love and create music. He spear-headed a non-profit organization, The Island Drum, in which he hand delivered used instruments from the United States to less fortunate children in his second home, Eleuthera, Bahamas.
He will live on forever in the smiles and the music of the children that he loved with all of his heart and soul. A celebration of Sean's life will be held on his sacred stomping grounds at 9015 Price Road Ravenna, OH on June 25th, 2015 from 4:00pm until dusk service at 5:00pm. He would insist on beach attire or "Hate Dies Hard" t-shirts, so we strongly recommend it. Rain or shine. In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted by Ruth and Dan Barringer in order to take Sean to his resting place in Eleuthera, Bahamas.
