Sylvia M (Talento) Baker

Sylvia M. Baker, 82 of Streetsboro, passed away Saturday August 8, 2020 at the Gardens of Liberty Park in Streetsboro.  She was born October 1, 1937 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Guy Anthony and Maryann (Olekcik) Talento.  Mrs. Baker has lived in Streetsboro since 1962 and was a member of St. Joan of Arc Church in Streetsboro.  She had worked as an RN for the Ravenna Visiting Nurse  Association and enjoyed camping at Holiday Camprgrouond in Pymatuning , Ohio.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Leonard Baker, Sr. on January 26, 2003.  Survivors inlcude her sons    Leonard J. Baker, Jr., Kenneth (Jacqueline) Baker, Gregory Baker, Clark Baker, her granddaughter Samantha Baker and great grandson Mikey.  There will be no calling hours , Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM Thursday August 13, 2020 at the St. Joan of Arc Church in Streetsboro with Father C hris Luoni officiating.  (Everyone please meet at the church and Masks are required).  Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery Streetsboro, Ohio.  Condolences and memories of Sylvia may be shared at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
