Tracey L. Thomas

Tracey L. Thomas, 59, of Streetsboro, was greeted by her Savior in the early hours of Wednesday, August 3, 2022. Tracey was born on February 21, 1963 in Winchester, Virginia to Charles McDonald and Judith Cottrell. She graduated from Streetsboro Highschool. Over the years she had worked various jobs, but those who knew her knew that her one true passion and gift was helping others. She met her husband Duane Thomas in February 2013 and fell in love instantly, they married August 10, 2013. Tracey was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. It is difficult to put one title to Tracey as she was everything to her family and was often described as the glue that holds everything together. She always had given her all to everyone she cared about, and even to strangers who she had just met. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy, she was "THE Grandma." Tracey was a member of the VFW auxiliary. She loved spending time with her family, fishing, working in the yard, spending time in prayer, talking with Jesus, relaxing with Buddy the family dog, bird watching, coffee, being outdoors and going on any adventures that life would take her. To say that Tracey is going to be greatly missed is an extreme understatement; not a day will go by where she won't be remembered lovingly by her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father Charles McDonald. She is survived by her loving husband Duane E. Thomas, her mother Judith Cottrell, her four children Christopher (Brandy) Musarra, Megan (Steve Yanovich) Musarra, Brooke Wheeler, and Chase Wheeler, her precious grandchildren Stephen, Audrina, Travis and Cordelia, and her sister Kelly (Bob) Paranic. 

Calling hours will be held 5:00PM - 8:00PM Monday, August 8, 2022 at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel, where a funeral service will be held at 12:30PM Tuesday, August 9, 2022 with burial to follow at Riverside Cemetery in Shalersville, Ohio.
