Violet Y. Hartman, 88, of Streetsboro passed away Tuesday September 22, 2020 at the Woodlands Health Rehab Center in Ravenna, Ohio. Violet was born on April 29, 1932 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Alfonso and Alberina (Trivasanno) Frato. Mrs. Hartman has lived in Streetsboro the past 18 years and was formerly of Mantua, Ohio. She retired from Hattie Larhlam where she worked as a dietary supervisor. Violet was a member of the St. Joseph Altar & Rosary Society and more recently a parishioner of St. Joan of Arc Church. Violet's passion was to cook for her family. She was affectionately known to her siblings, nieces and nephews as "Tootsie" or "Aunt Toots". In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Hartman, Sr. on July 24, 2002, as well as five brothers and three sisters. Survivors include her children Robert P. (Amy) Hartman, Jr., Janis (Craig) Moore, Karl Hartman, Paul (Deidra) Hartman, seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren and sister Martha.
