William L. Liston, 73, of Green, formerly of Aurora, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at Summa Hospital in Akron. He was born on June 25, 1948 in Ravenna, Ohio to the late Charles J. and Betty M. (Shellhorn) Liston.
He had a 32-year career with Dominion East Ohio Gas in Akron and Cleveland, finishing as manager of Customer Information Service for Dominion East Ohio Gas in Cleveland. After retirement, he and his wife, Sheila owned The Frame Up of Aurora, where he enjoyed working with their customers. He coached football and baseball in Ravenna. Bill loved photography, sports, and travel, especially his trips to the Maine coast lighthouses. Most of all, he treasured his time with his loving family and grandchildren, Emma and Jacob, whom he called, "his greatest blessings". Bill is a member of The Chapel at Tinkers Creek in Streetsboro, where he has served on Board of Directors.
Bill is survived by the loves of his life, his wife Sheila (Ashley), his children, Michelle (Merl) Rich and Tim Liston and his greatest blessings, Emma and Jacob Rich. Bill is survived by his cousins, and in addition, the Ashley family loved him as their brother. He will be missed by all.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial calling hours will be at 4 PM until the memorial service begins at 5 PM Friday, June 3, 2022, at the Chapel at Tinkers Creek at 9709 Page Rd, in Streetsboro, Ohio with Reverend Dave McClellan officiating.
