I had the pleasure of meeting Al. He was the nicest man. I loved always hearing the stories of his life, I used to bring him homemade meals so he had a good meal. I'm glad he got to see the Cavs win the Championship. He will be greatly missed.

Uncle Al was a wonderful and kind person. I have many fond memories of growing up with him and spending fun times with him. He was so giving and fun to be around. As the years passed, I didn't get to see him often, but he was always with me in my heart and thoughts. I am a better person for have knowing him. The memories of him will always stay with me.

From the sky.
All is well, Safely rest,

Allyn is remembered at Windham High School as a member of our athletic Hall of Fame for his feats on the 1961 Bomber baseball team, which went all the way to the state championship. His .560 batting average is one of the best in school history. I only met him once, but he was unforgettable.
