It was wonderful seeing Lowell at the Bravard family reunion last June. Ralph and I send our deepest sympathies to each of you. We will all miss him. For those many of you who I have not met - Lowell was my first cousin, his mother, my Aunt Jane and my father, Charles, were brother and sister. Lois Roth was my Godmother. Distance from Virginia prevents us from being with you tomorrow but please know we will be there in thought and prayer. Love, Patty and family

To the family of a friend, fellow educator and mentor--I had the honor to work with and for Lowell both at Streetsboro (High School Asst. Principal 1972-74 and at Maplewood Joint Vocational School, 1975-99). I have many fond memories of our years together. He may be gone but he's not forgotten. May you find comfort in knowing he touched many lives, all who are better for his guidance and friendship.

I just finished reading the obituary and what a picture it painted of a man who touched so many people through his family, his work as an educator, his church and his community activities. I had the honor of knowing Mr. Myers as my boss for many years. He hired me in 1976 and started my 35 year career in education. Over the years of my relationship with Mr. Myers it was evident to me how important family was to him. He was eager to share stories and accomplishments of his family and hear about my family. Loyalty is another value that I remember being important to him. He expected loyalty from his employees and in return was loyal to them. Many people were promoted and given a chance to better themselves in the field of education. I'm not sure that is a value in education that you see today. I feel fortunate that my career was shaped by a man with these strong values. My sympathy and thoughts go out to the family during this sad time.

My husband Dennis and I are so sorry to hear about Lowell's passing. He was one of the bridge players on Thursday nights with Dennis and my dad (Ted Hughes) and also golfed in one of the Ravenswood leagues with Dennis. He will be missed.
