After the loss of her Mort and her retirement from the school system, Ginny often traveled to Houston, TX to spend the winter months with her sisters Carol and Joan and their families. She also spent two long visits to Germany and France when her son Greg was assigned there with the US Army. However, the trip of her lifetime was a visit to Ireland to touch her Irish roots.

In addition to her children, Ginny leaves behind a daughter-in-law, Greg's wife Barbara Ann Morton (Miner) and a Son-in law, Wendy's husband, William Bernier. She also leaves her grandchildren Paul and John Kostraba and their sister Julie Richer (Kostraba) the Children of Jeff's wife Pat Morton (Kostraba); Julie Kovac (Morton) and Nancy Hitch (Morton) the children of Greg and the late Janet Morton (McSherry); and Elaine Derrough (Bernier) and Andy Bernier the children of Wendy and Bill.

The family expresses our sincere appreciation to the staff at Altercare of Cuyahoga Falls for the caring and compassionate care they provided Ginny in her final days.
