Robert S. "Bob" Rogala a longtime resident of Shalersville went home to his Heavenly Father on Wednesday December 8, 2010 with his family and friends by his side.  He was born November 6, 1942 in Elyria, Ohio to the late Adam and Murial (Denger) Rogala.  He was a member of the Crossroads Community Church in Shalersville, the Ravenna Moose Lodge 1234 and Shalersville Historical Society. He was retired from Mactac in Stow where he worked as a compounder.  Bob loved fishing, bowling, UFC and the Denver Broncos.  He also enjoyed playing cards, attending demolition derbies and playing Wii games, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.  He will be greatly missed by his loving wife Chris "Crystal" (Clark) whom he married January 28, 1967, sons Eddie (Jennie) Rogala of Bedford, Ken (Jeni) Rogala of Rootstown, seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, brother Ed (Dolly) Rogala of Vermillion, sisters Sandy (Jim) Bohnert of North Ridgeville and Betty (Lee) Simons of Lorain.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepmother Velma Rogala, brother Bill Rogala, sister Phyllis Morris and granddaughter Chrissy Rogala.  Calling hours will be 11:00 AM until time of funeral services at 1:00 PM Saturday December 11, 2010 at Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel with Pastor Keith McKnight officiating.  His final resting place will be Riverside Cemetery Shalersville, Ohio.
